How will I feel once my dentures have been fitted?

Once we have received your dentures back from the laboratory, you are ready to come in for your fitting appointment. When you leave the practice with your brand new dentures, you will find it much easier to enjoy foods that previously might have been off-limits to you.

The feedback we hear the most often from patients post-denture fitting is that they have rediscovered their confidence in everything from smiling and laughing to eating around others and looking in the mirror.

Do I have the option of implant-retained dentures at Paddock Dental Centre?

Yes. Implant-retained dentures are actually what we would recommend to patients from the start. As they are fixed into place and benefit from the stability of the surgically placed implant, these types of dentures are superior to conventional dentures in terms of bite, force distribution in your mouth, aesthetic and chewing function.

Whilst conventional dentures are more cost-effective for patients, they do not support the needs of the jawbone in the same way. Implant-retained dentures will stop your jawbone from shrinking. In turn, this ensures that the cheek area doesn’t suffer from aesthetic changes like hollowing. Instead, you will find that your facial makeup retains its integrity and structure.

Yes, as we believe the best treatments for missing teeth should be available to everyone. We can offer 0% finance to patients who wish to opt for implant-retained dentures.
