With this implant-based treatment, you can walk out of the practice after just one appointment, with a brand new set of functional and natural-looking teeth.
There’s no doubt that implants are the best solution for tooth replacement. However, replacing multiple teeth with single implants can be costly and time-consuming.
All-on-4 implants provide an alternative solution, allowing for the placement of an entire row of teeth, using just 4 implants per row. Using cutting-edge digital technology and our CBCT scanner, we can determine the optimal locations at which to place the implants in the jaw, resulting in a successful, long-term outcome.
The All-on-4 process has the nickname “Teeth in a Day”, due to the fact that a temporary set of teeth are fitted right away after your implants have been surgically placed. Your temporary set of teeth will look and feel completely natural, and afford you the freedom to smile and chew, whilst you wait for your jaw to heal, and for your permanent teeth to be created.
Your permanent set of teeth will be entirely befitting of your facial profile, the dimensions of your smile and mouth, and your facial features. The aesthetic result is second to none, and you will find that eating and speaking feels identical to if you were to have your own natural teeth.
Who makes a good candidate for All-on-4 treatment?
Is everyone suitable for All-on-4 treatment?
The precise placement of the implants allows patients with substantial bone loss to undergo treatment with All-on-4. However, should we find your jawbone density isn’t sufficient, there is the option of bone augmentation, which we can be performed in-practice. This procedure grafts your own bone from elsewhere across your anatomy or uses donor’s bone. Once grafted, this will trigger the formation of new bone, allowing for the eventual placement of the implants. The grafting process generally takes between 6 and 9 months.
What is the treatment journey like at Paddock Cosmetic Care?
For more involved treatments, we offer appointments with our Treatment Coordinator, who can talk you through the options available to you, and outline the steps involved. Your appointment with the Treatment Coordinator is also when you will be asked to fill out consent forms and review and approve your treatment plan.
They will encourage you to ask any questions you might have prior, during and after your treatment, whether these are regarding finance, consent, aftercare, or simply general questions. You will find the Treatment Coordinator to be helpful, supportive and someone who streamlines the entire patient journey, so that it’s a stress-free and seamless experience.
At Paddock Dental Centre we offer a wide range of routine and specialist dental care to ensure we can look after all your oral health and cosmetic requirements.
