What can I expect from the implant treatment process?

For more involved treatments such as dental implants, we offer initial appointments with our Treatment Coordinator, who can talk you through the options available to you, outline the fees, and explain the steps involved.

Once you are happy to proceed, the implant process is as follows:

• Examination: we examine your mouth and capture a CBCT scan of your mouth and jaw.
• Surgery: the implant is placed under local anaesthetic.
• Healing time: your jaw and implant will fuse together, which takes approximately 3 to 6 months.
• Crown planning: digital scans and specifications are taken, so that we can create your bespoke crown, which will fit over the implant, to give a pleasing final result.
• Crown placement: your beautiful new crown is placed.
